Til Death

The Union is the start, life begins
You learn, yearn, and hope for the best
While the age timetable chases and races
You are on a steady course
Winding, reminded that you can never get a divorce
From this estranged woman on your right
She is your heaven, your life
Wherever she goes, you must follow
Whenever she intrusts, you must swallow
Your pride, pride, your wonderlust pride
All of it gone after she becomes your bride
One thing you should never do is lie

It seems like a lot of people are talking about marriage right now. I decided to write a short poem about marriage. These are really not my views on it. I just write what comes to mind.

I hope you enjoy!
