In a bleak time, where the cool cats attack the baddies, the baddies believed the cool cats were the baddies. Neither group were constructed of the sharpest claws in the bunch, but both believed they were each others lunch. The cool cats antagonized the couches, fences, and paper towels. The baddies enjoyed being loyal , protected the weak, and played fetch for hours.
One day, the cool cats walked outside the baddies door and saw a hare. The cool cats decided they would pounce when the time was right. The sun was glistening off their elongated whiskers and their eyes were dead set on its prey. Before going in for the kill, the baddies decided to interlude. The cool cats were shocked by the roar they heard. They ran for the fences and hissed some more. While running down the alley, they decided to quit being cool, and start being an alley cat.
This prose poem was fun to write. It is pretty self-explanatory, but it's just a short prose poem that puts emphasis on the cats changing mentalities. In a way, it reminds me of the movie "That Darn Cat."
I hope you enjoy!
