A Nutty Grave

Darting across traffic
I search for my true love
She has a hard outer shell
But is still as a bug

She never gives me a headache
Unless she's buried underground
I start to frown if I can't find her
Sometimes I listen for a sound

I claw for her as fast as I can
She is buried deep into the land
I relieve her from this shallow grave
She is now mine and I can eat today

Squirrels are funny creatures. When they find a nut, they usually bury it as fast as possible. Then when they want the nuts, they claw furiously for it. Such cute little guys/gals.

I hope you enjoy!
